(Created with Richard Hecht)

A memorial installation created at Hillel at UCSB. The synagogue was the setting for a ritual reading of David Roskie’s midrash on the Shoah,"Night Words." Hanging overhead are images of the Shoah that have been transferred onto silk. Opposite to the Ark is a "book" spread across a reading table. Each loose leaf page of the book holds a poem written by various poets after the Holocaust.
